Propelle was founded by Ayesha Ofori, a former Goldman Sachs Executive Director and Private Wealth Adviser who spent years personally managing over £500 million of client assets for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Through that work and research, she observed something the industry consistently ignored: women at
every wealth level were under-investing, because of a lack of confidence, suitable offerings and community built specifically for them.
She left Goldman Sachs to build the platform she wished had existed. Propelle began as a community and education platform before evolving into a fully regulated investment platform. Today, investments are no longer offered. Propelle is solely
focused on financial education, community and financial coaching to help women move from saving to seriously investing and building long-term wealth.
Today Ayesha and Propelle’s community spans over 45,000 women across the UK.
Ayesha's financial education content has been viewed over one million times online.
She has delivered paid financial education programmes for Google, BlackRock, PGIM, Twilio, TikTok and others.
Her podcast, Femme and Fortune, launched in April 2026 and is for ambitious women who want to build wealth with greater clarity and confidence. It reached 14,000 YouTube views and 240,000 impressions within its first month and continues to grow. Ayesha's first book on women, investing and building wealth, published by Wiley, is due later this year.
Ayesha holds an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London and an MBA from London Business School. She is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur: named one of Management Today's 35 Women Under 35, winner of the Women of the Future Award, named one of "15 Women of the Future you need to know" by The Telegraph, one of "30 of the UK's most inspiring entrepreneurs" by Business Leader, winner of the Black British Business Awards Entrepreneur Rising Star of the Year 2020, and Imperial College London's Emerging Alumni Leaders Award 2020. She was also a Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award nominee in 2025.
