Order Handling Policy

What is this policy for?

This policy makes sure we take steps to get the best results for customers when executing their investment orders. When it comes to executing orders, in line with FCA rules we take these factors into account:

How do we receive orders?

Orders may only be submitted to us through your account in the Propelle platform. We will not accept orders submitted via email, post or by phone.

How do we execute orders?

We get customers’ orders to buy and sell investments through the Propelle platform, and then send them to Wealthkernel (WK) to execute. WealthKernel may aggregate your orders with those of other customers, but are required to ensure that you do not receive worse outcomes by doing so (see below for the WealthKernel best execution policy).

How do Wealthkernel help us get the best possible results for customers?

By choosing to work with Wealthkernel, we’ve analysed the way they work and their approach to executing orders and are happy with it. Wealthkernel is authorised and regulated by the FCA, so they have to take sufficient steps to get the best possible result for their customers when executing orders too.

We set minimum standards Wealthkernel needs to meet as part of our arrangement with them. We review their performance against those standards to check they’re meeting the right levels of service, and securing results for customers which are at least in line with what could be achieved if we used a different approach to execute orders.

You can read more about Wealthkernel’s execution policy here.

When will my order be executed?

When an order is placed (a sell or a buy) before 12pm on a working day, the order is executed the same day. Is the order made later than that, then it will be executed on the next working day.

What instruments do you offer?

We currently offer 3 Vanguard UCITS funds in the LifeStrategy series, 3 funds from Blackrock and 1 Shariah compliant fund from HSBC.
